I don't receive a registration number when I try to register avast free

I have twice now filled out the form to receiver a registration code for my Avast free.
I do not receive a registration number in my email.
What do I do now to get one?

Are you registering from an online or offline computer?

You can register Avast online (Maintanance -> Registration).

But concerning the web registration, I have the same experience as you have. I tried to register Avast twice to different e-mail addresses, but no registration received. I've read in another forums the same complains at least a half year ago. And evidently, they did nothing about it at Avast.

Sometimes server is busy and you need to wait....you have 30 days to do it...

It seems you didn't catch what this thread is about. The whole thread is about ...that you are not done.

All you do is register via the avast GUI, you don't need to get a number .

Exactly. I did off-line registration as is described in your link. The registration e-mail should have come within 24 hours. It didn't arrive yet.

I have a feeling that you - who write such quick responses - didn't read the content of the thread. Have you tried to perform the off-line registration lately?

1. Maybe it was blocked by any kind of Anti-Spam by your ISP/mail-client/3rd party program, usually there is an option to check that.
2. Yes, I did use both (off-/on-line) lately. No problems with both.

It worked  and I got the registration code to enter.
