Everything seems to have sorted itself out. I have restated my computer a couple of times during the day and was still getting the same message. I was just about to do a complete re-install of Avast. As i turned my pc on came with the a message saying virus definitions updated.
Sometimes these things happen. The best thing to do in this type of situation is to just reboot your machine. If this fails to work, then just wait for the next update and this usually fixes itself. Not to worry.
Now that your issue is resolved/fixed, please go back to the
first open post in this topic, click the modify button in that Post and change the title/subject, add
[Resolved] to the
beginning of the title so this thread can be closed.
