Hi 2010freesoho, thanks for the info! I'm using v. 2.0 and it works like a charm; I'm happy with it - easy-to-use, very useful to have a system backup just in case...

My question: can I update to v. 2.1 over 2.0? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Please just uninstall the old version and then install the new one. And we will provide the UPDATE function in the version 3.0. Thanks.

Best Regards,
River

I think this is similar to Comodo Time Machine or Rollback RX where is creates a baseline and you can create snapshots and then easily revert to a previous snapshot with one click. They also make an imaging program that is similar to the built in imaging program in Window 7.

No, it's not.
It's similar to Macrium Reflect, True Image. It's an image backup tool.
CTM or Rollback RX are advanced system restore tools.

Hi 2010freesoho,
I'd appreciate an answer to my question. Thanks

Hi,
In my opinion, it's more easy-to-use and more intuitive, especially for those people who are not very familiar with the computer.

Thanks.

The drawback is the MBR owning (i.e., the screen before Windows boots).

I wouldn't call that hard would you ???

As you can see, the backup is in progress while I made the screenshots, uploaded them and made this post.  :)

Well, how to restore? Is that simple also? Could you please test Keriver 1-Click Restore and then write a review?

Thanks.

The restore is just as simple.
I personally have no need to add another program to my system do what's already done very well by
something that's a part of the operating system, is easy to use and does an effective job.

If you would like to do a full review of the product you posted about, please do so. Thanks

Thanks for the clarification, but on their site they also have something called "Keriver Image". What would be the difference between the two. Is it the cloning capability?
