Configuration
« on: December 20, 2010, 08:22:25 PM »
Hi
Have already post about it at the wishlists but i will post about it here as i think this is very important
I realy want to see The feature for al avast product of keep al the user config (choices of config) in a little file
And so the user should manager this config file with the habilities to load, save oreven delete this litlr file
This should be useful as using this little file the user dhould simply load a new build or a fresh install of the curent build just by a click and not losing time configuring each build
What do you think?
Thank you
Happy hollydays

Hi vecchio,

avast! stores settings in ini files, so in some way you are correct.

What is missing is the ability to back up/export/import these settings...which has been asked for many times...

The ability to back up and restore these settings is still on the wish list for the next release (keeping our fingers crossed).  :)

since the A. team dont think its important my point,I will ask people here if there is some way to export avast config from version to version, since its a realy waste of time reconfig avast again and again from version to version,
This is the best av but sometimes it seems to be in the cave era yet

If you had waited for the stable then you would not have to reconfigure avast as it would install over the top.
This is the peril's of beta testing, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen  :)
