Virus chest
« on: November 04, 2004, 10:44:57 PM »
My last scan using Avast1! discovered six infected files. I placed them all in the virus chest. Is there any reason I should keep them there or should I just delete them? Thanks. .... wdc

If your system is working fine, you can delete them without causing problems.

I'll just add that it's good wait some days (maybe 2 weeks) to get rid from files in Chest. Now, in avast 4.5, you can control the size of the Chest and it won't take that space in your computer. It's safer keep the file if you're not experienced with handling it. Some infected files must be necessary even for boot...  :'(
