Setup a boot scan for every start or on a schedule?
« on: November 01, 2011, 12:46:18 PM »
Hello all

Is there anyway to setup a boot scan for every start or to start say once a week on a start or anything like that?

Reason being is I am finding lots of stuff in my Java folder that don't seem to be getting found any other way and would like to automate this scanning in someway so that the stuff gets removed on a regular basis.

Thanks.

No, it would be overkill anyway.

PS: Please don't open multiple topics for similar/related questions.

Sorry didn't see them as multiple, one was a question mostly on what was found during a boot scan and if I should be doing it more, one was asking if I could setup boot scan for a automatic or scheduled operation.

Just thought it would be better to break that up separately so that too many separate topics would prevent anyone from feeling like helping.

you should also investigate where that "stuff" in your java folder is coming from, and why avast isn't detecting it.
