Scan issue
« on: November 03, 2011, 12:21:28 AM »
Hi there.
I have been using Avast for a few months now and I am very happy with it so far.
I ran a scheduled scan tonight and it came up with an issue though, it lists several dll files and states Error: Cannot find the path specified (3)
The files it cannot find are
algo.dll
aswcmnbs.dll
aswcmnis.dll
aswcmnos.dll
aswengin.dll
aswrep.dll
aswscan.dll

Whats going on and how can I fix it please

seem to be from a avast folder ? you dont give the full path   C:/...../....

if so this happens when avast have done a clean up in the definition folder at the same time you scanned
so nothing to worry about

if you reboot and scan again it should be gone...

Yes that is an old defs folder being cleaned out during avast housekeeping. If these wern't periodically cleaned out it would take up a lot of hard disk space.
