Persistent SMS notifications with GO SMS - "1234 LOCATE" text pops up

I use GO SMS and it seems that the text messages are not suppressed as they should be if i text the code and a command to one of my phones. When the phone receives the text it pops up on the screen so the thief would see "1234 LOCATE" come in as a text message. Everything else seems to work. The commands work they are just not hidden. Does anyone else have this problem?

After a bit more research it looks like this is purely an issue with GO SMS and the simplest solution is to stop using GO SMS.  Handscent seems to work well with it.

the reason is that GO SMS does SMS things very ignorantly ... we have complained to them already several times but no reaction. maybe the team is not working anymore there...
