hey guys ive been wondering what is and wats the difference between a traditional antivirus and a non traditional one? is avast a traditional antivirus? im sooo confused.... :/
Maybe if you could define what you're understanding of the two terms mean to you,
then we might be able to elaborate.
As David already mentioned, one person's perception of traditional might be
another persons evaluation of no traditional.
The types of infections are evolving and the security industry is trying to keep up
with the change. What was traditional yesterday, requires non traditional methods
today to prevent an infection or compromise of your system.
Who knows, today's non traditional methods may be considered tomorrows traditional method.
(Now you should be totally confused.
