iTunes 7.7.0

The new version of the jukebox software for Mac OS X and Windows systems is necessary to support iPhone 3G, the iPhone 2.0 firmware update, and both downloading and syncing apps from the App Store for iPhones and the iPod touch.

The upgrade also includes explicit support for Apple's MobileMe push data service, which syncs calendars, contacts, and e-mail between the handheld devices as well as Macs and Windows PCs.

JDK and JRE 6 Update 7

Quote
Sun Microsystems has issued updates for its ubiquitous Java software to plug multiple security holes. Of particular interest in this bundle is a fix that prevents attackers from exploiting vulnerabilities in older versions of the software.

I don't think it will come through auto-updates till it goes final, apparently on the 16th July:

According to Softpedia, 3.0.1 will be a final release next week, with 3.1 coming at the end of August. Meanwhile, only beta testers or those who have chosen to get beta updates will see 3.0.1 in auto updates.

Quote
The first stability and security update designed for the current version of the open source browser, Firefox 3.0.1 is set up to deal with any issues identified past the Release Candidate 2 stage of Firefox 3.0. At that time, since early June, Mozilla had blocked all changes to Firefox 3.0 in order to make the launch deadline. In this context, 3.0.1 will manage to give the start for the next security and stability updates targeting Firefox 3.0.

Firefox 3.0.1 Drops Next Week- On July 16

Quote
"Candidate builds of Firefox 3.0.1 are now available for testing. You can get the builds here. If you have previously downloaded a beta version of Firefox 3.0 or have manually set your copy to be using the 'beta' release channel for updates, you can update yourself to Firefox 3.0.1 by selecting 'Help > Check for Updates'," revealed Samuel Sidler, Quality Assurance Engineer at Mozilla.

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7

The full internal version number for this update release is 1.6.0_07-b06 (where "b" means "build"). The external version number is 6u7. Included in JDK 6u7 is version 10.0 of the Java HotSpot Virtual Machine.

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp or http://www.filehippo.com/download_java_runtime/

It is also a good idea to go to Add/Remove Programs and un-install all versions of Sun Java then download and install the latest version.

Run Secunia: Online Software Inspector to see that the Sun Java is at the latest level:
