Isn't the uptake of windows phone OS pitiful (marginally ahead of Blackberry), until it gets a reasonable share I can't see avast doing the work to get it done.

Well fastest growing is a bit of a statistical anomaly, surely when coming from such a low user base, growth looks high. "the past three months to January 2014, show Android almost snatching 70 percent market share across Europe." so any fastest growth is still going to be way down on overall market share.

I also worry about stats like this when it is from an interested party 'Windows Phone Central.'

Interestingly there isn't a split in the collective stats for version number of the varying OSes.

If I was Avast, I would concentrate on protection for the iPhone and iPad.
I'm constantly asked about a version of avast! Mobile Security for that phone.

OT: I strongly agree with Bob because me and my mother both have iPad Mini and we need Avast AV protection for our iPad and I'm still waiting, and I'm thinking about getting an iPhone so I can stop using my old Nokia C2-05 model.
