Sorry, yes, it's beta, but I downloaded via the regular download button on safer-networking.org (which took me to a mirror site.)

So watch out, one of safer-networking.org's mirror site is downloading a beta (or was yeasterday.)  :o ::)

One of the mirrors tried to download a different anti-spyware program when I clicked on a spybot link.

Mr Kolla seems to have chosen some poor mirror sites.  ???

Version 2.6 of Outpost Personal Firewall PRO Includes IE-BAR

On April 11, 2005 Agnitum released version 2.6 of Outpost Firewall Pro. The new version provides an alternative method for controlling the content of web pages directly from the browser, thanks to a new browser adjustment plug-in.

This plug-in allows users to manage the settings for ads and active content plug-ins from a special panel in Internet Explorer. The panel contains options with the settings for ads and active content plug-ins that are similar to those displayed in the Outpost Firewall interface. These options allow users of Internet Explorer to apply their security settings "on the fly," directly from the browser window.

Outpost Firewall Pro 2.6 has also achieved improved performance and repaired stability issues submitted by users.

I don't get it, what's the deal with Ad-Aware updates ? Version of definition file is SE1R39 on my computer, and when I click Check for updates, nothing happens, actually, it's checking and then it says, no updated components available... and I'm sure there is new update available (SE1R40), so I have to go and download that definition file manually. Worst of all, it's not the first time... they should do something with this problem...

Anyone have any clue why this happens ?

Microsoft Antispyware update definitions: version 5707.

Correction: Microsoft Antispyware update definitions: version 5709;)

Edit: It has been reported by some users that those MS antispyware definitions are flagging some SpywareBlaster files. This is propably a false possitive, so please don't delete them.  :-\
