Opera Browser 9.10 is out today, now with fraud protection features built in. If you enable fraud protection, every time you request a web page Opera contacts a server to check for phishing. Opera's partnered with GeoTrust, which provides a whitelist and a blacklist, and Phishtank, which provides a blacklist. Opera downloads the blacklist from Phishtank and sends queries to GeoTrust.

Sites on your local intranet will not be checked. In order to protect users privacy, Opera leaves fraud protection disabled by default. When it is enabled, information about the sites you are visiting goes to an Opera server, but is not shared with any third parties. And while Opera does save a list of sites you visit, it does not save your IP or any other identifying information.
