Adobe Reader 10?

I was using the FTP site to directly download the newest adobe reader version without that stupid download manager, and I saw that there is an adobe reader 10 folder with an executable in it.  Check it out here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/

LE:

I tried installing it, and when it's finished, it says, "Successfully installed Adobe Reader X"

Upon launching, it gives the option to create a PDF online (upload a document and create a PDF).  Not too impressive, but nice for those who don't have office 2007+ and can't create a PDF.

LE:  Just realized that they have the announcement on their main page about the release of Adobe Reader X.  Guess I didn't "stumble" on a "un-released" version like I originally thought...  :-[

Oh well, now you know it's available.  Not like anyone cares, because everyone uses foxit anyway!

yeah Adobe Reader 10.0 (aka readerX) has been out for a few weeks now ;D the only thing is that they didn't intend to offer direct upgrades for some time after the release.

Yeah, shows how much attention I pay to Adobe and their products.  ;D

Adobe has never offered internal updates to a new major version. You have always had to do it on your own. They only update within a version like from 9.0 to 9.1 or such but never from 8.xx to 9.0 or in this case 10.
