No, still no notification of an available update when checking from the UI. The same is true of thunderbird 8.0 also.

Meanwhile I think the 8.0.1 on filehippo is a hoax. ;D

Edit: Also not found on mozilla's FTP server: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/

Not a bad idea. Unlike some of the other Threads, the posts in here are outdated as soon as the next update for each
program is released.

It isn't a problem, who in their right mind is going to start from the first page. It is a bit like a newspaper, if you missed yesterdays edition, you don't go out of your way to read it as it is old news.

Those that have participated in it or follow it (notify) see the new posts.

Webroot Secure Anywhere v. 8.0.1.20
It's available for a 30 days free trial
It runs along your current AV & FW
http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-trials.html
I'd suggest you try the WSA "Essential" one, the one I have. It has identity protection although with SafeBrowser in Avast you don't really need it. ;)

If you were to add any extra security drhayden1 then MBAM PRO would be the top choice.

End of off topic, back to the updates  ;)
