Well they were considering it being a half or whole ordinal update +1.0 or +0.5), more than just a 0.0.1 as it turns out. That to me is a major update and why I tend to wait, seen it too many times with Outpost. I love the product, but their support sucks, not that I have ever had much call for it.

For me 7 months for a 0.0.1 increment is somewhat strange/suspect so I will certainly be watching but not installing for now.

Very true, like many other Russian products, they may look ugly or have lack of support, but they works.

I will be waiting for a while before installing this update as Outpost in the past seems to have another patch update shortly after release to the masses.

OT: DavidR are you using the latest version of 7.5.2, and is their any good news or bad news (pro or con) of Outpost before I update mind and finally it's okay to install over the top :-\ :o

As I have said in the post you quoted and my earlier one, no I'm not and will be waiting a while before doing so. I generally install over the top with it to retain the configuration/settings or you can export the settings before doing a clean install, then import the previous configuration.

I apologize for leaving a comment in this article. I thought it was acceptable because some people posted multiple comments in this article on February 21 and I didn't see anyone leave a post saying to stop doing that. I also checked the first post in this topic and didn't see anything saying that commenting on a post in this article isn't allowed.
