1 Critical update has been released for Windows IE 6 and up, download via windows updates.

26Mb and and a reboot required for me.

Interesting, don't know where the 26MB version comes from, downloaded IE8 for XP SP3 and IE9 for win7 SP1 (both 32bit) and the combined total is a little under 24MB (so not so bad). Wouldn't like to be on dial-up as I used to be.

Perhaps the 64bit versions are heavier.

This CSU for IE-8 ran 13.5 MB for my 32-bit XP.

Checked my installation of IE 8 for XP SP3 and installation reads 4.9MB ??? :)

This is the update for 64bit IE9 SP1 from microsoft, the installer makes it a Mb larger.

Wow, much heavier for the 64bit update over twice the size of the 32bit versions of the update (XP SP3 update 10.?MB and the win7 SP1 13.?MB).

The smallest is IE 7 on Vista Spk 2, 32 bit. 6.6 MB. The biggest is IE 8 on XP Spk 3. 64 bit. 41.8 MB
