Prevents typesquatting attempts. Nice

I can see that you will benefit a lot from this feature as shown by your misspelling of typosquatting. ;D

I wonder who would have caught this besides you? Wish I could say that I did this on purpose to make a point. This does show how useful SiteCorrect can be.
Thanks. I fixed it.  :)

<snip quote>
Yeah and also there is a bug when you go to update tab and click update engine and virus definitions.. (see pic)  you see the big white gap?  <snip>

No gaps here on using manual virus definitions update.
But do you see a "Cancel"-button while updating? It was there in the 7.0.1426.

If avast! needs someone to give a testimonial on the usefulness of SiteCorrect I think you would be a good choice :)

Opera plugin doea not install " There was an error" popup received. Yet now having restarted Opera the WebRep is clearly shown in the menu bar.

Trying to use the settings in Browser plugin section caused avast to freeze and the system locked up, no Ctrl/Alt/Delete, waited 10 minutes and had to power off to restart machine.

Web rep causes lag in all browsers so that will be removed from my systems.

And the installer STILL has the same flaw. >> Programs and Features > Avast! > Change > remove any feature> Restart > WebShield no longer functions.

Hi,
what is avast! Emergency Update?

A new feature -- allows us to push out critical product updates in case of some big issues where the main avast service is not able to start / crashing.
Such situations, till this new version, meant the user had to reinstall avast as there was no way for us to fix such problems from remote.
With this new mechanism, we can push out fixes even to such issues.

Thanks
Vlk

Same here, I had 100+ days left, now I'm on 90. ??? :o
Well, no big deal for a beta, but this should work on the final release..!!

Edit: Still no script shield activity on FF ESR.

Hi

Everything went fine with installation. First installation was on top of existing avast!IS when I find problem with browsers started in sandbox. FF, IE9x64 can´t are crashing down and IE9x64 is freezed while opening pages with IE9 message "...because of incompability webpage is opened with incompability tool..." but with white screen inside window-browser.
Also webrep installation error for opera.
Second clean installation went fine but problems with browsers remained at the same stage.

See you...

Hi,

lost the license, but settings were still available after an "update installation". As far as I can remember it was the same situation in one of the beta builds of the avast! 7 betas.

I tried autosandbox and I don't like that when you click Continue execution It does continue to run but without sandbox. There should be checkbox which when will be checked will continue with sandbox. If not checked - then will continue without sandbox as it is now..
BTW Where disappeared that avast gray bar on the right side of popup? Now that looks pretty ugly.
