Explain how to "Save trusted downloaded files outside sandbox"function

I see this option in the sandbox settings >>> web browser
I would like to know how to use it - i.e. how to set a trusted download
It is not documented in the help file

Hi, i have asked the avast technical support team about a 2-3 days ago and they told me that the files downloaded in the sandbox cannot be restored. If you need to download a trusted file, then download it in the regular browser without a sandbox. I hope that they will add this  function in the next version.

Does this feature, "Save trusted downloaded files outside the sandbox" (in Sandbox Settings), fully works now? How do I specify if the downloaded file/s is trusted and in what directory can I find these files?

In the FAQ, the feature is briefly indicated as:

Save trusted downloaded files outside the sandbox:
When using a web browser in Sandbox, files that you download are saved to your PC, outside of the Sandbox environment. When enabled, this option allows you to keep the downloaded files after closing the Sandbox window. Disabling this option results in downloaded files being automatically deleted when you close the Sandbox session.

I have tested this and couldn't find a downloaded file in the directory I specified before. Thus, if this feature is still not working to this day, then why still include it under the Sandbox Settings? What is it's purpose?
