Man no problem, if there's anything else I can do from my side to help you I will gladly do it. This is my 6 month old gaming computer that I built so I was devastated when all this happened, you are a life saver!

Gonna restart and hook up the other drives now and see if all is well. Then reinstalling avast.

I would recommend installing Avast prior to replacing the other drives to ensure that it goes on the correct drive.  It should do but better safe than sorry

Ok will do.

Do you know what exactly caused the problem? Something I could do in the future to prevent this?

So I shutdown the computer, reconnected the hard drives and booted up and got stuck in the windows screen again. I disconnected the HDD (which is the oldest drive) and booted up again and same problems. I disconnected the other SSD and booted up again and it started up perfectly. Do you know what's going on? Maybe it is the boot order?

On the other SSD is there any important data ? As there is a possibility that the second SSD also has a reserved partition and that is causing confusion.  The reserved partition dictates the master drive (Boot drive)

No I don't have important data on there, it's a drive just for games. But I would like to keep them cause my internet is pretty slow and downloaded those games to forever lol.  But if nothing can be done I know I will probably have to format and that's ok.

Just another tidbit of info: When I connect the other SSD while the comp is on, under device manager in disk drives when I connect the SSD, the SSD doesn't show up as "samsung bla bla bla" it only shows up as "disk drive". When I disconnect the SSD it goes away, so the comp is recognizing it somewhat. When I reboot and go into bios, it doesn't show up there.

Thanks again.

I don't know for sure (I didn't even know this was a concern) but it has been running them fine for about 3 months.

This is the mobo I have.

MB GIGABYTE|GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ R

Could you copy the games from the second SSD to the hardrive, reformat the SSD and then copy them back ?  Or are they actually installed on that drive

I don't think so since I can't access the SSD...is there some way that I could?

And even if I could, I don't think I can do that since they are installed and I don't think they would just copy over to the other hard drive. Also, I have about 36 gigs left on my primary drive cause windows and battlefield 4 lol.

Just another bit of info.

I plugged in the HDD and booted up the comp and it worked fine. So you are correct, it is the SSD :(.

OK I will have another rummage around, although it may actually be a problem with the SSD.  I have very little knowledge of them at the moment

The driver causing the crash is iomap64.sys   I am checking that out at the moment
