Hey, how about a small X button on the blue message which appears once the update completes? And contex menu on the update's tray icon...with an option to cancel current update, or to show more info and stuff... :)

Vlk, will this new version include the fixes you gave me for the outbound email scanning upload speed issue (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=13678.0)?

I cannot say for sure, but I'd say that if Vlk improved the code, he also kept it for the new version - so I'd say yes.

is there any speed improvement?

I don't think so.

Using Royal Theme. I'm not facing with this problem...  ???

Yes you do. Look in the corners where i marked with red on my pictures.
There are some round shapes with shaded corners and edges.
It looks even more ugly with other skins.

I don't know about Standard Shield icon. I kinda liked old one more. This new one looks like it doesn't belong there, if you compare it with Network or Web Shield icons.

I would have to agree here, as the squiggle in the middle of the shield could be mistaken for anything n, o, q, anything but the avast! 'a'

Please add encryption for SMTP settings. This is a great risk since anyone can access them in avast4.ini file. Reading info there could be used to abuse password authorized SMTP servers which are otherwise used for malware submission from within Chest.

Thanks for putting some feature of AEC on avast settings... ;D Just great...  :D

The feature "Show results in Explorer Extension" doesn't show the results like in on-demand scan...

Another thing: why when we click on avast tray icon and click in "Program Settings..." the window doesn't have the skin?

Thanks for you great work ;)

Just noticed another glitch in Explorer extension scan Results.

I belive that extra red text is missing. People don't know in which unit you count the total filesize. Also rounding to nearest bigger unit would be a good idea.
Use the following table on how to display total filesizes.

<1KB,use bytes
<1MB, use kilobytes
<1GB,use megabytes
<1TB,use gigabytes (but we don't need this one yet)

But if you can't realize this, just extra "bytes" text in the end of value should do the trick. And dot separation of decimal places for every 3 digits.

You need to read what Vlk said on the first page, he already told us the improvements of this beta release.  :)

This is a beta release not a public release, so if you aren't prepared to accept that there may be issues (and be able to deal with them), wait for the public release. Vlk said about 10 days I believe.
