Hello ALL

I just wanted to inform you we are aware that currently EA does not show the current version to update via the control panel. This will be fixed by tomorrow 12/15.  There was an issue on the update server which is why the new version is not available.

Example attached.

Very sorry for the inconvenience but did want to inform you fix will be available soon.

It is now 15/12 and no change. If I upgrade manually, how do I push the updated client?

Finally, the version works with Windows 10. However, I have some issues with Windows 7 and Windows 8 now! Windows reports that no anti-virus is installed. I'm pretty sure that the anti-virus is actually working (my SOA console shows it to be ok on all computers), so this might just be something 'cosmetic'. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is December 17th and I still get the  8.0.369 as the latest after clicking on Update.  Any chance this will be working this week?

Thanks!

John

Thanks adynes. I have now gone through the process of a full removal of avast on all Windows 7 and 8 PCs and a full re-install, and this solved the problem. I'm glad I only had 9 to do rather than hundreds!

What's the status with being able to update the AES control thru add/remove program and selecting Update?  Its been over a week now since we were told the issue would be resolved on 12/15.

I have installed a fresh version of the new EAC on a Windows 7 machine, and while the console is up and running and I was able to create a deployment package, my clients are not showing up in my computer catalog. I even tried installing the client on the host computer and still nothing. All of my new clients are in trial mode as the console isn't communicating with them. Please help.

Does "tomorrow" have a different meaning on your planet than the rest of us? It's now coming up on 3 months later, and it's still not fixed.

We are having the same issue as others on this forum.

When checking for updates via the Control Panel --> Programs and Features we get the following:

Current version:
 - program: 8.0.369
 - setup: 8.0.369

Latest version available:
 - program: 8.0.369
 - setup: 8.0.369
Publishing date: Apr 04, 2014

It is March 31, 2016. Please advise when this issue will be taken care of.

Thank you.

I finally downloaded the latest installer and now when trying to run the Console it get an error:
The server certificate does not seem to be valid! Either is has an invalid signature or it is expired.

I cannot get in to the console now.
Anyone else run in to this?

Jason
*Update - I found the option in EAS Maintenance to renew the certificate.  After renewing and rebooting I am able to login again.
