OK have you done a clean install, as the McAfee elements may have corrupted Avast

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast 
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

• Run the uninstall tool and accept the reboot to safe mode
• Once complete reboot your system
• Reinstall Avast

ok., I did this action once more. After new installation of Avast all functions are activ as required, but Avast Icon at desktop did not operate for adjustments. I activated reboot of PC. After this  a box was shown "Die Avast Installation wird fertiggestellt" and in the background a download was running. During this download the Avast-Icon at the Taskline switches on an exclamation mark! Webshield without operation !! Reason for the switch is your download after new installation and restart of PC. Please correct this program function.

Remark:
The new installion was done in normal mode and connected to internet because setup needs internet contact.

Ich habe zunächst auf eine Lösung von essexboy gewartet, da kam bisher nichts mehr. Deshalb habe ich nun wie vorgeschlagen eine Supportanfrage gesendet und hoffe auf eine schnelle Lösung.

ok,  Vorgang liegt seit mehreren Tagen beim Support, ich habe nur eine Bearbeitungsbestätigung  erhalten. Problemlösung steht aus,  ich melde mich sobald ich  Info habe.  LG ghoef

Zwischenbericht: Bisher alles erfolglos!!!:
-Deinstallation und Neuinstallation, doppelte Ordner eleminiert(Avast und Alwil)
-Avast Selbstschutzfunktion deaktivieren: nicht möglich
-Malewarebytes deinstalliert und Avast "repariert"
Alles umsonst!
Zur Kenntnis/Verdacht:
Nach nochmaliger Neuinstallation -vor Neustart- funktioniert alles. Während des PC -Betriebs kommen Avast Updates über das Netz. Nach späterem PC Neustart (da aktivieren sie sich) tritt der Fehler dauerhaft auf. Ich vermute die Ursache daher in einem der Avast-Updates, die noch nicht in der Installationsroutine enthalten sind.-

Glaube ich nicht sonst gäbe es noch mehr User mit deinem Problem. Mein Vorschlag wäre: mach eine Datensicherung von Daten die nicht verloren gehen dürfen, formatiere deine Festplatte und spiel dein Windows mit allem drum und dran neu auf inkl. Avast natürlich.
