Hi everyone.
Over one year ago, I was having trouble to run a virtual machine in VirtualBox. I eventually discovered it was Avast (Free) which was causing it. I solved it by unchecking
Settings > Troubleshooting > Enable hardware-assisted virtualization. Now I reinstalled my Windows 7 x64 on an SSD and the same problem popped up. However, I no longer see that option in the settings.
How can I disable Avast's hardware-assisted virtualization?
For the record, [1] is where I found out about this, which links to a thread [2] from here. Microsoft's HAV Detection Tool once again tells me HAV is not enabled on this computer, even though it is in the BIOS.
Thanks in advance.
