Problems installing SecureLine VPN on Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried to install the trial version of SecureLine VPN... before paying the $60/yr subscription price. So I went through the installation process on my Windows 10 PC (64-bit), but encountered the following setup message:

"Unable to execute file; D:\Program Files\AVAST Software\SecureLine\SecureLine.exe.  CreateProcess failed; code 14001. The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

This often means there is a conflict with other installed software.

Hi jbthorstad,

I believe you are trying to install SecureLine standalone version along with Avast Antivirus, right? If this is the case, please try SecureLine built in AV. We are currently working on fix which will allow to use both SecureLine (standalone and AV) versions on the same PC.
