Outlook 2010 technical preview

I've been beta testing this latest version for  a while and have to agree with the reviewers assessment.
I also think this is a winner and a great program to add to a nice new  Windows 7. :)

Good information about gmail access!  Thank you for sharing it, Bob.  Nice to know the recent outage didn't affect pop3 access.  I guess that's why I never noticed it either.

Thanks nmb.

Here is something I just came across that may interest many of us:
Enable Vista/7 to use more than 4GB of memory without hacks

Any comments ???

I had 4Gb... some say Vista 32 bits can't handle more than 3 + video RAM.
I need time to read. But it will be good if any advanced user could comment.

What's not to understand here ?  ;D

From that article:
Quote
Both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows can use all of physical memory, including above 4GB, but 32-bit Windows can give no more than 3GB to each application

That is the thing you need to know Tech, a single app CAN NOT use more than 3gb ram on a 32bit windows system. That is the whole catch.

I was always under the inpression that the RAM limit was a mathematically accepted value, as opposed to the idea that it is a 'defined' limitaion as such. You learn something every day...

Very interesting read Bob, thanks :)

Wow... I've learned that... I've though I was not using all the available RAM...
