For the alt-tab thing there, there is a bug that does the same thing with one extra key press:

Why you would want to I don't know...

I even change Firefox to show something similar to alt-tab when pressing ctrl-tab (change something in about:config, will post when I find it again)

EDIT: I tracked down that Fx thing Can't remember where I saw this, but in about:config, change "browser.ctrlTab.previews" to true. Then when you press Ctrl-tab you get previews of each tab, good if you have loads open

I've never even used alt-tab and had to try it to see what it does. It's just as easy to click on the tabs themselves, actually it's easier.
