Let's stop with the flaming, please and back to on topic. This topic is related to Software News not about YoKenny.

@YoKenny, with no offense, you need to think twice before the postage of any critic about the system or/and software that the other people use. Is a personal choice to have software X instead of software Y, all depends on each person needs not because Software Y has more features, etc.

Moving on...

I have to say that I think this is more to do with yet another attempt by MS trying to kill off XP and sell more new OSes.

With XP still having the largest share of the OS market just under 60% (or still over 50% depending on which results you view), which must equate to even higher in the MS OS market share, they are desperate to kill it off, but it refuses to die.

Secunia's PSI goes down due to server problems

It seems to be working now.  Perhaps a temporary thing.

There were funny things going on yesterday with my PSI. Repeatedly scanning, a scan stopped, and only seconds later started again and again and again.
If I manually stopped, it took about 5 to 10 minutes and all began anew.
Suddenly this behaviour stopped at about 18:00 local time and everything is back to normal since then.

Windows 7 Overtakes Windows XP in USA

Quote
We’ve been wondering when this day will finally come for a while. It didn’t take Windows 7 too long to overtake Windows Vista in terms of market share, but we all agreed that the biggest test for Windows 7 would be to see if it could take down the mighty Windows XP. And it would appear that it has just done that.

All we have to do now is convince DavidR that Windows 7 is the best!  ;)

You will also have to convince David as to the accuracy and reliability of these statistics.
Even I have my doubts on those two factors.  ;D

I think the major limitation of Windows 7 is the hardware minimum requirements.
This is the market share limitation (I think).
I think it is, undoubtedly, an advance from Windows XP. It's better.
