How run AOS: security avast online
« on: September 21, 2017, 08:15:39 AM »
Hi to all,

I just want to know if the behaviour of AOS is normal or not.

Normally, the Firefox AOS icon, is green each time I open the web browser. But the number written in this icon is very often red with a growing up number before typing a first web address after the start page.

By clicking the icon, I see the detail page and I see that the automatic blocking of the following tool is always inactive: I have to active it to get on the blocking function.

All the parameters of the addon are clicked on and I don't understand why SAO has always this status at each time I start Firefox.

Is someone able to explain to me why AOS shows always a number in red instead green and require to me to have a look on these parameters before to surf on the web: of course, I active the blocking parameter at each time?  :(

I think I've been understood in my explications.

Thanks for any reply and help,

Regards,

Thanks for this link informing how AOS runs.

But, I've found these general guidelines alone, as a big boy.

Are these informations mean that I always say to AOS to block anything each time I open Firefox?

I use Firefox about fifty or sixty times a day, open it and close it.............. Understand it's not usefull and my post explain it well.

Is it possible, and in this case how, to get a permanent blocking action of AOS on Firefox browser?

Thank for any help in this direction,

Regards

It is AOS, not SAO and it doesn't block anything by default.

You have understood: AOS and not SAO.

What else?

There is nothing else.
You install it and use it.
The number is the amount of alerts and you can see them through the GUI.
