Passwords not working on Chrome/SafeZone

Hi,

Using Win 10 - Avast Passwords always worked fine in both Chrome and SafeZone. Now the Password key icon by the address bar has a red exclamation mark beside it and passwords doesn't function in the browser.

When I open Avast/Passwords I can still see all my passwords.

Chrome does not install when I go into settings/passwords, I get an error message.

Any help or advice would be received with thanks!

got the same issue yesterday... or the day before that, still is not resolved



tried uninstalling the extension, close the browser, then use the re-install button in the avast program. Still fails to handshake/connect

EDIT: Fixed

For me at least, I uninstalled the extension, restarted my computer, added the extension back on via the avast app.
and it works now.
