Avast Virus Chest Bugged
« on: February 27, 2020, 06:00:04 PM »
So I installed a game called FiveM, and when launching it Avast thought that one of the files was a virus which it is not, anyway, I shredded the FiveM folder using Avast as I wanted to reinstall it and the two threats it detected is still in the virus chest, I can't delete them, I cant extract them, and I can't restore them and they are just stuck in there, the files don't exist on my pc anymore.

I have reported both files, but both of the files are stuck in my virus chest when none of them are on my computer.

Tried that and could not find any fix other than reinstalling avast, and I don't really want to do that.

I have already said no matter what I do the file did not go away from the virus chest, it wasn't on my system anymore but avast said it was in the virus chest.
It's not going to go away from the virus chest but should have also restored to it's original folder if you followed the directions.
