Nowhere does it say anything about contaminated DRAM being used on any equipment.
This will however affect the price of future DRAM for some time into the future.

I don't see how DRAM (dynamic random access memory) would become infected during manufacture, that is what dynamic means switch the system off and the contents of DRAM are quickly gone ???

It's physical contamination they're talking about here, not malware or software related infection.

From the article:

Which probably made them unusable. That would also explain why there wasn't any mention about using any of the contaminated DRAM.
