Yes it was released some time ago but, the update wasn't available till just now.....

Strange that as Tech said it was released some time ago and my phone update automatically some time ago.

Do you periodically check for an update, I did when I only had 4.0.0. I also turn the phone off on occasion and I believe my auto update coincided with a restart after having shut it down.

I check quite often and turn the phone off whenever I'm flying someplace which is quite often.
I've also had to do a few hard restarts because the camera was misbehaving but didn't see the
update till today.
