OK, ok... I am a  buff of anything to do with syfi space movies; Buck Rogers, Star Trek, Star War and others. It does not matter how childish it may sound, at my age, but we can not deny what they have given us in real life.

Yes, but there is one Star Trek gadget we don't need.  The thing McCoy used to seal wounds. Just imagine somebody sealing your butt closed just for kicks.
