My new Nexus 7 is supposed to have Google Now. It says just hold the home button down and swipe up but all I get by doing that is Google search.

Never mind, I do have it, I just had to hit the little menu button that was hidden by the keyboard and found that it was turned off.  Now it works.

All My Faves is ready for Black Friday and Cyber Mon.

If you want to spend save some money, take a look at how they've set up their search engine for this occasion.

When you spend a lot of time on the road like I do, finding WiFi hotspots can sometimes come in handy.
The following website is a great source in helping me do that:

High Tech Toys for "Mature" Boys
Here are a couple of additions I've picked up during the last few month:
A Logitech Wireless Solar keyboard Model #K750
Details: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards/keyboards/k750-keyboard
It certainly beats typing on the laptop keyboard and no more batteries required. :)

A Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touch Pad for Windows 8
Next best thing to having a Touch Screen which my Dell Inspiron 17R
doesn't have. As I get more familiar with it, I'll probably eliminate the mouse also.

My Logitech M185  Wirelss Mouse
Whats really nice is that all 3 of these use a Unifying Receiver.
I plug this little receiver into the pass through USB port on my
Laptop Fan so that I'm actually only using 1 USB port for 4 Toys.
Please don't look at the prices on the Logitech site since that's not
where I do my shopping.
I may like their products but, there are better price available.
All you have to do is "Google It"  :)

I almost forgot, I also have one of these:

Logitech Z305 USB Laptop Speakers which come in very handy when I'm doing a
Presentation for a Computer Club or another group of computer users where they
don't have a sound system. This speakers projects very well considering how
compact it is and will fill a fairly large room with sound.

Another toy for this growing (older) boy.

I was testing the Panorama feature of my new Samsung WB150F camera. ( I paid considerably less. :) )
It should make the pictures I take on my upcoming Arizona Presentation Tour much nicer and easier to pass along.

A good thing about living in a place like that is that if Godzilla ever attacks, you'd see him coming from a LONG ways away.  ;D

Nice, doesn't do a bad job of stitching the image together. However the one I'm waiting on is the Samsung EK-GC100 Galaxy Camera; Android Jelly Bean 4.1, 4,8" touch screen, 1.4Ghz Quad-core CPU and 21xoptical zoom. As some reviews say it is like a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone with a proper camera function.

Looks like it will be expensive (more that your one Bob) but strangely they reckon it will be less than the Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.

If you're using Gmail, here's a great tip:

To use Reply or Partially Reply, that is the question ???
Reply sends back the entire message and all previous messages (Chain) which can get very confusing. (I Know....)
The choice is yours and it's very simple:

The Samsung EK-GC100 Galaxy Camera will be somewhere in the region of $1500 AUD/$ 976 GBP David and the image quality is quite poor from the reviews I've read, especially for the price your paying, jeez you could have a topline camera for that price.

I've not long ago acquired one of these http://www.dpreview.com/news/2011/8/24/sonynex7overview through my wheelin an dealin ( Impounded shipping container auctions ) and can thoroughly recommend it.

I have seen a review already (Pocket-lint) and the quality of the images weren't that bad for what is a compact camera (with a 21 X optical zoom), as the review said its like a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone with a much better camera function and they were saying it is likely to be cheaper than a sim free S3.

I doubt I will actually be buying one as I already have a Fuji FinePix 770 EXR, very small and 20 X optical zoom and smart digital zoom to 40 X and beyond if really fine quality isn't an issue.

Unfortunately even if the Sony NEX-7 were the best camera in the world and the review looks good, I wouldn't buy one. Every since the Sony Rootkit saga I vowed never to buy another piece of Sony equipment. So far I have kept that vow and boy do Sony make a lot of stuff.

You would probably find many Sony parts in your Fuji ;) most of the Japanese electrical componant companies and many others around the world pool there parts from Mitsubishi electrics and Sony.
