I know this thread really belongs to bob3160, but did not know where else to post this one:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDC97j6lfyc

Interesting but tragic at the same time.  A 17-year old young man has limited time left and yet he is doing something very useful with his time remaining, please view.  YT showing over 2,000,000 views so far.

Chrome, Firefox now on speaking terms
New developments in HTML5 let people using the two browsers talk to each other, without third-party apps.

We think we know everything but actually we don't know that much

That is just the milky way. There are said to be more than 500 billion galaxies.

Can you show me the guy who came up with this theory? I would like to know why he chose such a big number.

As far as I'm concerned, no planets outside of our solar system have actually been found. None have actually been seen but rather are said to be there based on anomalies like flickering light from the star or other things. I really shake my head when they try to tell us what they are composed of. There is no way they could know that. Just think about how many things we had been told about the planets in our system had to be revised when instrumented probes actually went there and took pictures and measurements. There may be other planetary systems but until someone or something with a camera goes there, it won't be conclusive to me.

Yes the final frontier. But its an unlimited frontier. Universe is expanding at a speed of 74.3 plus or minus 2.1 kilometers per second per megaparsec. Megaparsec is equal to 3.26 million light years or 30,800,000,000,000,000,000 km.

@ Dch48

Yes, you have a point. But I think they use complex equipments and its all based on proven theories. Yes, I have often wondered how they determine what the planet consists of and its atmosphere from here itself. Its only recently they said they found water on the moon.

Here is a picture of how they spy on comets  ;D
