Right, we know a new version exists. We're addressing the lack of a forum post.

I don't need a forum post. I keep an eye on my software. :)

I don't understand why it takes so long to update the forum. where everyone anxiously waits for the news.
The avast team was not the first time to have delays, please do not delay the news.

Well, if it means that they're aware of the Notification date issue that users are experiencing in the other thread, maybe they'll fix that and let us know that they fixed it.

Even with this problem, I could post it here. and the correction comes next.
I believe that if he catches some bugs he will never be able to publish.... hahaha ;D

So do we. We all see the Avast UI telling us that a version is available. Some people probably even had theirs automatically update. That isn't and was never the issue.

The issue is that without a forum post we don't know what has been changed and maybe have questions about the update that aren't answered in the forum post. A lot of people, myself included, want to know what has changed and if there are any issues before updating. And, so far, this is at least the third update in a row where they were late with making the update post.

I'm also very curious to have this information. But as you said, this is the third time this has happened, something is wrong. I don't think teams talk to each other within Avast... lol  ;D

But you are posting in a thread referring to an older version. If you have questions about a new version,
Start a topic and ask questions in that new topic relating to the version for which you need information.

It's tangentially related to the topic of the thread, it's not like it's completely off topic.

Talking about obtaining information for version 24 in a topic about version 23 is certainly off-topic.

There is no 24.1 thread yet and if it was created it would be pointless since it would just be overridden by whatever new thread an Avast team member would create. Someone pointed out that 24.1 was available, and several of us responded accordingly and went along with the flow.

And again, this still doesn't change the fact that what you chimed in with initially was a complete non-sequitur. If you have a concern about us taking this thread off topic, then state that from the beginning and ask us to make a new thread. But you didn't do that, you responded with "uh well, I always get notified when there's a new version fellas!" It just suggests that you weren't actually reading what was being discussed by us.

I agree with you.

It wasn't your fault friend, the problem was that the avast team launched the 24.1 product and didn't create another topic, we're here discussing the next topic, we need to know what's new in the product.
