Hi Everybody,
I have just downloaded, updated, and scanned my system with PC Tools SpyWare Doctor. At first I was kind of shocked by the results as I normally scan my system with Avast! at least once a week. I also run SpyBot Search & Destroy about every third day. I also run SuperAntiSpyware every couple of days and I have SpyWareBlaster and SpywareGuard running all of the time.
Avast! always comes back with a clean log as do all of the rest of the things that I run. I also make a habit of going into Safe Mode ever couple of weeks and running all of my scans there too.
OK, my concern comes from all of the crap that SpyWare Doctor has found. I am seriously thinking that everything that it is listing is actually just a bunch of false positives as the program is the 'free' edition and it tells me that I will have to BUY the paid version to be able to remove all of those threats.
I'm attaching a screen shot so that you can see what I am talking about. I would like to know if there is a way that I can submit some of those things to Avast for them to see if they are in fact Trojans that Avast doesn't recognize or are false positives.
Thanks for any advice,
Wendy
