Again, where does it specifically state that it does not install on XP ?  ::)

EDIT: I see you are not getting my point, where does it say THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT INSTALL ON WINDOWS XP ?

It specifically states which operating systems are supported.

Windows XP is not listed.

Okay you are not getting it, Windows XP is simply not on that list but that doesn't necessarily mean that it cannot be installed on XP. As the link on EaseUS faq page explains, because MS is ending support for XP they did not put it on that list but they did not specifically state anywhere that it cannot run on XP. Now we could argue all day here over an idiotic thing like this and won't achieve anything. Users on EaseUS forum were able to successfully install WAIK 3.0 on their machines and not only that, if you google that particular subject you'll see they are not the only ones. Like i said, try to install it for yourself and you will soon learn if all those users are lying or it indeed can be installed on WinXP. Worst case scenario, WAIK refuses to install on your machine and that's that, no harm done.

Okay I've install the latest version of EaseUS Todo Backup v2.5.1 and I've also download the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) v3.0 (warning 1.66 Gigabite file) the link was provided by EaseUS, and I just fellow this instruction onto my XP using this link was posted by Darth.Mikey How to create WinPE rescue CD/DVD of EaseUS Todo Backup Free? http://www.todo-backup.com/products/features/winpe-bootable-disk.htm.

I install the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) onto my XP I just download the ISO file and store this in a safe place on my PC and burn this ISO onto a disk and follow this instruction to this link http://www.themudcrab.com/vistapeguide_waik_xp.php, after that I went to "How to create WinPE rescue CD/DVD of EaseUS Todo Backup Free?" while reading the instruction very carefully. By the way, the current version of EASEUS Todo Backup can only support FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS file system, so it can't backup Linux system partition.

1. Place my blank DVD in

2. I went to select "Tools" and then select "Bootable media builder"

3. Then I picked "Create WinPE bootable disk" and then clicked "next" at the Create WinPE emergency disk

4. At the screen look for "Export ISO" and save the ISO file in a safe place

5. Do NOT pick "Delete the ISO when emergency disk created" just make sure you've got plenty of disk space onto you're PC, just keep the ISO in a safe place just in case you need to create another WinPE bootable disk.

6. Then finally pick "Proceed" to start creating a WinPE bootable disk and that it your done.

When the WinPE bootable disk was successfully created from my PC, I've done a backup using EaseUS Todo Backup v2.5.1 and then after that I've boot into my WinPE bootable disk and it "WORKS just like magic". I can see every available option as promise by EaseUS straight from the WinPE bootable disk and I was successfully restore my backup without any damage or errors on my PC I was fully up and running (phew and I was very worried).

Keep in mind the latest EaseUS Todo Backup v2.5.1 software feels kinda heavy on my PC so watch out for that, I'll used this backup software for a while, IF I don't like it I can always go back to Paragon Backup & Recovery 2011 (Advanced) Free ;)

Hey Speedy, what do you mean by "Keep in mind the latest EaseUS Todo Backup v2.5.1 software feels kinda heavy on my PC so watch out for that" ?

I have 3 EaseUS processes running over here, all together they take up less than 20MB of RAM. Even Skype takes up more than that.

Darth.Mikey their are program running in the back ground by EaseUS Todo Backup that need to monitored your PC before you create a new backup, as I'm trying to understand why they're doing this unless you have any ideas.

I don't know exactly what they do as i have not researched them yet but i would assume they are for backup schedules, monitoring for updates, displaying tray notifications and things like that.
