Well being on dial-up I won't be watching the video, so I don't know what was discussed, but if that router firewall doesn't provide any outbound checking (and most don't) then the software firewall is far from redundant.

Any connection originating from your system will allow in the response now if that is a malicious outbound connection it has just bypassed that router firewall.

I have had it for some time, but I was using the update 10 beta build for some time. You will also find JAVA Console in the Tools menu. I don't believe you would get asked after all JAVA is for use with your browser, the Java Quick Start just gets it loaded faster.

Looks like there will be a lot of people sticking with Foxit 2.3 then, I will be one of them.

However I think the payment is for foxit reader pro ???

So they are still advertising it as free:
Quote from: from the first link
Overview

Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer, with incredible small size, breezing-fast launch speed and rich feature set. Foxit Reader supports Windows Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista. Its core function is compatible with PDF Standard 1.7.

The EULA also seems to confirm this, http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_eula.htm with only certain advanced functions requiring payment.
