On my android I've installed secureline as a 7-day free trial and I am considering paying to keep it. But if I can't get it to connect while I am on unsecured wifi, it is worthless.
It will connect just fine on 4GLTE! But as soon as I turn on Wifi on the phone, and the phone identifies an open network that I have previously told it is ok to use, phone connects to that network and POOF -- SECURELINE PROCESS ENDS (without any error message).
If I then restart the process and use the graphic to "turn on" protection again, it simply keeps trying to connect, without success. One time it eventually gave me a notification that it couldn't connect, all the other times since then it has simply tried forever with no resolution. I eventually have to kill the process manually to get it to stop trying.
I would post a log file but I can't seem to find where that information is stored on Android 4.4.
I'm giving this thing ONE CHANCE. Like others have said, I want this for the sole purpose of added security while on public wifi, and if connecting to public wifi kills the process, what's the point!
