How to get the Windows 10 November 2019 Update
https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/11/12/how-to-get-the-windows-10-november-2019-update/
3 systems updated, one to go. :)
<snip images>
If you're having troubles getting the Media Creation Tool, I've made it available
on my OneDrive -> https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhqxANJ1R0yZjLkVnjas3RBBeEI-IA?e=Gi9cJg

Well this is somewhat unusual for me, I had the Malicious Software Removal Tool and a Cumulative Update for win10 1903 KB4524570 pending install.

Below that a notice that an optional feature  1909 was available for download, etc.  Previously I had to fight like hell to get the feature updates (usually very late (if at all)).

Currently waiting on completion of those 1903 updates (which has just happened) and a restart (about to happen).

EDIT:
Downloaded feature update and installed, I have to say this didn't take very long at all (surprise) and restarted.

All appears to have gone OK.

If you've updated to v.1909 and aren't planning to go back,
you can reclaim quite a bit of HD space.

Whilst people may not be planning to go back, I feel this measure shouldn't be done too soon.  Give the system a little time to ensure you don't experience any issues.  Even so after 30 days (I think is the default) windows should get rid of this anyway.

Microsoft Made Major Setup Changes in Windows 10 Version 1909
https://www.thurrott.com/windows/windows-10/222344/microsoft-made-major-setup-changes-in-windows-10-version-1909

Why MS keeps making life damn difficult for users is beyond me.  My guess is marketing in the hope to sell you something else if you have an on-line account.  Fortunately I haven't bumped into this little gem on my win10 Home version, due to how I set it up when I first got my system.

I declined much of what was offered and also used the ShutUp10 tool to quiet Cortana, etc. but I still keep getting notifications about OneDrive, which I really don't want.  I don't use any online storage device I just don't trust them.

Maybe this will help with your OneDrive hassles.

Thanks for that Bob, I was forever getting notifications after windows updates, WinPatrol letting me know of startup actions and or other things related to OneDrive.

I even got a notification from about it when I started following the instructions in the link, before I got round to uninstalling it.

Now it is gone and will shortly be followed by the empty OneDrive folder.

Did you notice that when ever you search for  something at explorer it does not show what you are typing? or am the only one experiencing it?

I don't know why you ask about Win10 Beta as the build you are showing isn't a beta build, but the regular 1909 release.

Not seeing that issue on my win10 Home 1909 release version.

As David already stated, this is Windows 10 v 1909. The official release.
I also have no problem using the search function in explorer.

Well I can't see why it needs to be a beta tester (any avast user can be a beta tester) if the problem is on the regular release.  They don't really have any additional privileges other than using it and commenting in the beta sub-forum (no direct access).

Bob has been a regular beta tester, I have stopped, but neither of us are having that problem.

There is nothing to stop you creating your own new topic as it would get buried in this very large topic.

I have to say you seem to get some pretty strange things going on with your system, going on past posts.

Windows 10 Upgrades Blocked if Using Old Versions of AVG, Avast
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-upgrades-blocked-if-using-old-versions-of-avg-avast/
https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/253

I would have to wonder if/why AVG/Avast antivirus software is singled out in this article (I didn't notice any references to other software), I would have thought that all AVs would be effected by this change by Microsoft (rot win10 OS updates) if the user is running out of date software.

I'd be leaning more toward a bias on the part of the author. :(
