I don't see anything complicated or hidden to find the
support link.
Just 3 (simple) steps after you click on the link you indicate #1 to bypass the FAQs or expensive phone number ... ask the question directly to avast.
Otherwise, either there's something preventing you from completing the three steps, or I don't understand your expectations.

Nothing has been brought back, they were always available (at least for Europe).
