*Two moon on 27 August*
Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 2 7 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

on my next trip to saturn i'll get a few as spares ::)
Spaceship Batteries
If you're looking for a particular battery, Battery Bob is the guy.
For example, how about an oh-so-hard-to-find Inter-Galactic Spaceship battery? It's only $50 million.
http://www.batterybob.com/product.asp?intProdID=999901
Note: Do not confuse this with an Intra-Galactic Spaceship battery. Although they look similar, this $10 million item is good for only 1 million light years of travel.

Unfortunately this is not true... (part about the size). The truth is that is will be closer than ever, but still it's going to be just one small red dot on the sky...  Just another urban legend circulating through emails. Read more about it here:

... Don't do anything just watch.

You have to wait a few moments before it starts. Just sit back and enjoy, no scrolling no clicking...

Groaners.................

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.
2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."
3. Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted.
4. A dyslexic man walks into a bra.
5. A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm and says: "A beer please, and one for the road."
6. Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other: "Does this taste funny to you?"
7. "Doc, I can't stop singing 'The Green, Green Grass of Home.'"
"That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome."
"Is it common?"
"Well, It's Not Unusual."
8. Two cows are standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning."
"I don't believe you," says Dolly.
"It's true, no bull!" exclaims Daisy.
9. An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were nothing to look at either.
10. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.
11. A man woke up in a hospital after a serious accident. He shouted, "Doctor, doctor, I can't feel my legs!"
The doctor replied, "I know you can't - I've cut off your arms!"
12. I went to a seafood disco last week...and pulled a mussel.
13. What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh.
14. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the other and says "Dam!"
15. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft.. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.
16. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. "But why," they asked, as they moved off.
"Because", he said, "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer."
17. A woman has twins and gives them up for adoption. One of them goes to a family in Egypt and is named "Ahmal."The other goes to a family in Spain; they name him "Juan." Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she also had a picture of Ahmal. Her husband responds, "They're twins! If you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal."
18. Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him.... a super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.
19. DejaMoo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.
20. ...And finally, there was the person who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns would make them laugh.
No pun in ten did.

A Nice Gesture  http://jeroenarendsen.nl/index.php

A Nice Gesture is a website by Jeroen Arendsen who is currently working on a gesture recognition project at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
The language of gesture is rich in ways for individuals to express a variety of feelings and thoughts, from contempt and hostility to approval and affection. Every country in the world has its own set of gestures. The way people gesture is part of the culture of a country. A gesture which looks very normal to you might be offensive in another country.
When you meet someone for the first time in the Netherlands, you would start off by shaking hands. Generally you would remain at about the same distance as while still shaking hands. People tend to make eye contact, but while talking, one can look away occasionally in order to create a comfortable situation.
The Dutch are considered to be very direct in conversation. Foreigners often tend to interpret this Dutch directness as rudeness, yet the Dutch never realise that others might feel offended. This directness is a well-appreciated form of openness in the Netherlands.
In other words, we ask straight questions and we want straight answers. Oh, and when greeting someone of the opposite sex, it is customary to give three alternating pecks on each other's cheeks

Motion Portrait: Talking heads on a creepy new level
Someone apparently thought there was plenty of room for innovation in the "Flash-driven creepy talking head ad" space, and Motion Portrait has certainly picked up the reigns. check out the real deal at Motion Portrait's site,"and be sure to move your mouse over her and ring the bell" ::)
The obvious advantage here is a stunning aesthetic boost; this digital secretary moves in a way no other talking head presentation has, even while talking. Still, hope to see this far more advanced tool used with restraint when it comes to advertising on the web (and let's face it: it will come to that). No matter how real or natural presentations like this may seem, they can still be a thorn in a site's experience and drive visitors away if they start blabbing immediately or simply won't shut up.
Motion Portraititip- hat's off to the impressive work you've done in the creepy talking head space. Let's just hope you can recommend some equally impressive advice on restraining the use of these to the marketers who come a'knockin'.
