Cannot understand why DavidR did not choose the alternative of mobile Internet, stick in the modem USB that come free and pay per month for fa...ast(er) Internet connection, 21% of UK residents have this,
I can:
a) with few exceptions, normal mobile communications aren't great in my area. I guess I'm not in the 21%
b) mobile broadband (3G) communications are even worse.
c) assuming I could get a reasonable connection, cost (I don't need a load
I just hate being ripped off) high monthly charge and once they see how long I would be on-line etc. it isn't unlimited connection/downloads, etc.
So you would be likely to have to pay an even higher sum than the monthly charge.
