I missed the second screen shot .Here's the order even without the usb. rescuedisk.iso , open the iso then rescue,  then  aswpeshell.exe click on it and the iso opens open to scan your computer . again do this in safe mode or go to recovery  then startup settings and start the booting sequence. If you created the usb bootable  than do the same thing with the usb once you get into safe mode or recovery going into safe mode THEN put the usb in when you're in the right environment. I hope this helped someone. Thanks for the help and input I received from the forum members stepping in when they see me struggling to learn.

You're welcome.

If you wanted to tidy that up - You can go back to your Reply #30 and click the Modify button top right of the post.

You will see your post and below that the Attachments and Other options, clicking that will show the Attached images in that post.

They will all have a check box to the left, unchecking an image it will remove the image.
If you removed the Capture.png3.png and save the changes.

Now go back to your Reply #30 and click the Modify top right of the post.

You will see your post and below that the Attachments, now attach (adding) Capture.png2.png and Capture.png3.png.  Now save the changes and all should be in order and in one post.

More evidence  of the flawed rescue iso I downloaded on 9/2/2023  vs a fully functional one I transferred from by brother's computer  using teamviewer transferrre his rescue iso 9/29/2022 to my computer and created the bootable usb using rufus.  look at the two avast iso's and their dates. The 9/29/2022 iso created using rufus let's me boot into antivirus rescus mode the more up to date iso will not allow usb bios boot up no matter what usb bootable creation tool is used. Avast techs should easily fix this problem and give the avast customer a rescuedisk.usb.
