New build seems to have corrected the runonce startup entries, update all avast drivers and it's working stable for more than 5 hours.
In this new version, does avast alert the user when its firewall is turned off and will the summary page say attention instead of secured?
Except that AIS is always asking for VirtualBox connection when I start a virtual machine. Are the settings being saved at all?

So, when you get black/white screens, run Task Manager (taskmgr.exe), go to iexplore.exe process, right-click on it and choose "Create dump file" and upload it on ftp (http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=18). Please note you may have more iexplore.exe processes running - so you need to generate dump file for each iexplore.exe process. Thanks.

PS : Also the clear log for the firewall is this fixed ? As there a french guy would like to know it.
This is a specific (known) compatibility issue with Sun VirtualBox. There's currently no plan to solve it, sorry (it's not that easy, and probably not worth it).
Tech, I am just curious, but are your booting slowdowns solved with the 5.0.590 pre-release
