When ever your having any sort of software issues its always best to uninstall and reinstall then go from there.
Not true. You need to diagnose the problem first and not jump to conclusions that doing an uninstall/clean install will automatically fix the problem. You also need to show some respect for the OP/user by not assuming their gender, as the OP politely pointed out to you.
As mentioned in an earlier post,
pk is a Senior Avast Developer and you blew him off with no respect, and he was trying to help the OP, and we can ALL learn from him.
