Hidden setting in Microsoft Edge
You might want to change this if you're using Windows Edge.

Did you scroll down to "Experimental Features" and untick those?  (Note to others reading this thread:  Make no further changes without confirmation one way or the other.)

My thoughts are that experimental features are not required, but could be wrong.

No I did not. Developer features are something you need to select. The ones I pointed out are there by default.

The default setting has localhost loopback enabled so I'll leave well enough alone.

Quite welcome to point out an unknown issue with Edge.

Do you have a source you can contact about the Experimental Features ticked as on by default?

@ mchain,
If you're interested in joining: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_install/welcome-to-the-windows-10-technical-preview-forum/56369120-6cbf-40d1-b3d7-aac066f8b4ab

@ CraigB,
I just disabled that one since it was also enabled by default but still is noted as putting the OS at risk. (Haven't seen any problems by doing that.)

Here's a brief description of it's function http://www.trishtech.com/2015/08/disable-localhost-loopback-in-edge-browser/ if we're not doing web development or using the system as a server then fine to disable.

In connection with the previous discussion on this, it seems that Microsoft indeed plans on removing the classic paint app in the fall update.

Here's the latest word on this topic direct from Microsoft:
MS Paint is here to stay, it will just have a new home soon, in the Windows Store where it will be available for free.

I use Microsoft Edge as my default browser and when I opened it this morning I got this popup.  I have this extension on Firefox and Opera so I'm wondering if I should turn it on or leave it off on Edge.

Win 10 version 1703.
.

UB doesn't install itself so you obviously went to the store and downloaded it for Edge, quite logical that you need to turn it on ::) or use the Adguard extension, I find it lighter and more user friendly than UB extension with protection that equals or betters UB imo.

@ -midnight,
After installing any extension in Edge you also need to make it visible on the taskbar.
