Users are reporting BSODs with the latest patch for Windows 10

I'm fortunate to not have suffered in the Oct update nor have I received any unwanted Bsods from the Win 10 Patch. Lucky I guess.
But certainly makes on very weary of accepting to update until others have cleared the way.

"The problem seems to mostly affect HP users, and it relates to a driver file found on the company's computers, 'HpqKbFiltr.sys'. Many of those affected reported that deleting this file solved their problems and that the devices work normally. "

All of my computers are Dell. I had a HP several years ago but didn't like it so took it back to Best By and got a refund.

Yes Bob I'm aware and having read the article I feel fortunate as you can see I run 2 HP laptops both with Win 10. :)

I have as a consequence now adjusted my Windows Auto Updates in Group Policy to notify when updates are available to 'download'.
This will allow for time to review how the updates have affected users before updating.
Never felt the need before.

Is there no way to uninstall the fall creators update?  I subscribe to WebMD, Mayo clinic, Ebay and a few more but when I try to open the links I can't and get this error message.

I chatted with someone on virtual agent 2 days ago but she couldn't help me so she asked me if I wanted to talk to someone from Microsoft and I told her I did so scheduled a time for someone to call me but no one did.

All of my documents and downloads have been deleted and now I'm afraid all of my pictures will be deleted too.

I have 4 more computers with win 10 and 3 with win 7 but none of them work right. My neighbor could probably fix them but I don't remember the password for any of them.

As already explained, you don't uninstall the October 2018 update. You roll back to the previous build:
Settings> Recovery> Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows 10

I can't roll back.

Edit

I don't know how any files were removed.  I sure didn't remove anything.

Sorry but they didn't erase themselves.
If you can't go back then all you can do is a new install.
You might as well wait till 1809 is again released even though your files are already missing.

Running Storage Sense or CCleaner will remove the Old files folder if it was previously ticked.

@bob3160  I didn't erase them.  When I have time I'm going to do a complete recovery.  I've done it before on another computer and didn't lose my pictures.  I know I'll have to reinstall all of my programs.

@CragB  I don't have CCleaner installed.

I'm going to buy a new computer and dump this one.  I'm sure when I check for updates the fall creators update won't be on there.  I'm hoping it won't.

Edit

I've written down all of the programs and apps I want.
